Liet Hellwig, BA, MA, PGCE, MPhil

Liet worked at UCQ for two years in 2013-14 and came back in August 2018 to add another two years. Her MPhil research was in the acquisition of English grammatical structures of Arabic-speaking women living in England. She has 41 years of experience in teaching English, which she has taught in 11 countries on 3 continents (Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Mexico, Indonesia, Canada, England, Holland, France, China and Brazil). Her main interests are teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and TESOL training (training Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages). Her previous EAP teaching experiences in the Middle East were at universities in Nablus and Amman.
